SSH Shell Access

You may get SSH Shell access from us for use with your account -- but with some restrictions. You also have to be SURE to read the portion of the TOS which mentions penalties if you misuse our shell access.

Steps to Get SSH Shell Access

• E-mail support@crazywebhosting.com and put SSH Shell Access in the subject line. Briefly give reasons you need it in the body.
  
• Scan your Drivers License and attach to that E-mail.
  
• If you don't have access to a scanner, you may fax your Driver's License to +1-469-519-2360. Let us know in the e-mail you send that you have faxed the license to the above number.
  
• Once we get your driver's license and e-mail, we will enable SSH Shell access after everything is verified.
  

Thank you for your consideration. We disable SSH Shell access by default until it is requested, for security reasons.

If you need to use SSH to access our box -- try VanDyke's SecureCRT or even your own Linux installation. If you are not sure what SSH is, or what a Shell is, you do not need Shell access. If you need to do some stuff that edits files, use CPanel's File Manager to edit the files.
