Add-On Options

Crazy Web Hosting has a variety of add-on options! This page describes each Add-on and the prices/options for each add-on.

There are two different types of add-ons -- one for the E-mail Only Hosting plan, and one for the rest of the plans (which are webhosting accounts). They are described below.

You can do add-ons while ordering, or after ordering. If you are one of our current customers, go to our "How To" page on add-ons by clicking here.

The options are described and listed under each package group. XMAIL is by itself, and then the rest are in the second group. You will know which group you are in by seeing the color and name of packages grouped together.

SSL Certificates
SSL Certificates are available with this package. While you already have shared SSL capability with our server (i.e. https://secure.ccsecurenet.com/~username), you may want your own real SSL certificate to reflect your domain name. We use certificates from Comodo which are respected.

This option also requires an IP address. If you do not select an IP Address in addition to the SSL Certificate selection, you will be billed for one on a separate invoice added later on.

Static IP Addresses can be obtained. The maximum IPs you can have is 2 (For NameServer needs).

IP Addresses are needed for things such as SSL Certificates, nameservers, or the desire to cover your shared web usage. Otherwise, a shared IP address is good enough and will do fine in many cases.

Add Mailing List
We offer Mailing Lists as a convenience to you. Mailing Lists can be used as a group list, info-list for a product you may have, or a newsletter. We currently include MailMan as part of the standard cPanel add-ons, but also offer 2 others that are a lot more simpler and easier to use. We only charge one-time setup charges to install depending on the program.

Mojo Mail is a popular program that uses Perl/CGI to function. It is an incredible program and very easy to use. UPDATE: The website for MojoMail is down while renovations and a new name are underway. We still have the most current version (2.8.9) which can be used.

PHPList is another mailing list similar to Mojo Mail but using PHP. Currently it lacks an archive which Mojo Mail has, so this is one drawback. It is FREE and installed if you want one.

Add Photo Gallery
We offer online Photo Gallery software as part of our offerings. There are 3 different types of Photo Galleries. We only charge one-time setup charges to install depending on the program.

Coppermine is a very good program and more advanced than Gallery (in next description). It has many features you may love. A few themes are included with the installation, and it looks really spiffy! An example may be seen here at http://www.robbins-williams.com. It, however, is not as easy to play with as Gallery is. Information on Coppermine can be found at the Coppermine Page.

Gallery is the all-around favorite, but is also very basic. It does not have any themes, and is very simple. The program comes with a very easy to use interface for novices. Gallery Remote (a separate download which you can read about at the Gallery Remote Page) is a great application you can use on any platform to upload/modify/manipulate your gallery. This application is installed FREE if requested. More information on Gallery can be found on the Gallery Page.

Simple is a very, very simple gallery program. It is not that user friendly and does not come with many options. However it may be cool to some people so it is offered. Information can be found at the Simple Gallery Page.
